Not necessarily the places we went or the things we planned to see, but the small details in between. A colour. A funny little scene. The feeling of warm skin after a day in the sun.
Conversations that somehow last for hours when nobody is checking the time.
And my girlfriends, of course.
There’s something very special about travelling together when life at home is usually full of things to do.
For a few days, we got to just be there. Swim. Talk. Laugh. Eat. Repeat.
Looking through these photographs now, I think that’s what summer feels like to me.
A little messy, a little sun-faded, salty and slow.
And somehow, never quite long enough.
